Great article! Curious about your thoughts on journaling. A friend got me started with 1 page a day, but I have been writing eligibly as I fear if someone read it they would think I was crazy! I sort of use it as a brain dump but also a way to solve problems.
So fun to hear from you, Deanne. I love that you're journaling. Your concern is normal, and you're not crazy. Each of us faces our inner challenges and dark dimensions of our personality. But these are what makes us human. And anyone who judges us is disconnected from themselves, especially their shadows. What you write in your journal is for you and you alone. Keep journaling! :o)
This is coming at a perfect time. I have to get out of the loop. Somehow I've convinced myself I'm superior because I can "see all angles"...when really I just end up ruminating on every possible outcome, paralyzed by indecision worried that I'll make the wrong (uninformed, subjective, unaware, etc. etc.) choice. Thanks for the reminder stay in the present and trust my intuition that exists in that moment.
Some decisions are tough, aren't they? The bigger the stakes, the more we can get paralyzed. You're right. In the end, no amount of thinking will get us there. At some point, we have to trust our intuition. Sometimes, asking, "What's the worst that can happen?" can be helpful. Whatever you decide, I'm certain it will work out in the long run.
