This is a great reminder that growth isn’t always linear. Some days we’ll crush our goals, and other days we’ll need to give ourselves a break. And that’s perfectly okay. It doesn’t mean we’ve failed; it just means we’re human. Thank you for sharing your journey, Ryan. It’s a comforting reminder to be kinder to ourselves and embrace the imperfection of it all.

I definitely relate to the journey of athletic training, comparison, and finally getting to a place of simply moving the body and listening to what my body is saying each day! Slowing down and not comparing is vital, yet counter-cultural!

If only it were an actual place. I lost my way yet again and am finding my way back home. Hopefully, I will learn 'for good' this time.

This: "Now I know that my job isn’t to impress anyone. It’s to take care of myself." It's taken me way too long to understand this, but now it's about treating my body and spirit the right way, not the popular way.
